Hah when I picked up some rifle and it appeared weaker than the starting pistol :) Other weapons that I tried worked well!
Like the game design where drops need be discovered with light but foes eyes are visible, so you build your tactics.
Also you can make multiple enemies with the same eyes, but different sizes and damage and abilities to "deceive" player more.
